i'm 16, male, from uk. where's a good place or thing to do to meet a girl? as in, someone special i can relate to... i know loads of people, just mostly guys, the girls are either taken already or i can hardly relate to them at all. school relationships never seem to work out, they've known me too long (me was considered a geek for a long time, etc.) im quite different nowadays. my interests: -music (keyboard / synth) -computers (linux etc, if this means anything to you) -some circus skills (diabolo.. think juggling) and no im not a geek/nerd/whatever, i have many friend networks, just nowhere i can find someone special. >___< any ideas? thanks for listening
With music & juggling skills, how about a renaissance reenactment group? We've got them everywhere here, and might be a good "fit" with your current skills. But what's wrong with geeks? I like geeks love, mom
Perhaps you should get involved with protesting and campaigning, if you're interested in and worried about any issues. I'm sure you'll meet plenty of girls that way, and every sort, and circus skills are more common among protesters. I've met a couple of guys at protests. Plus if you don't meet a girl you'll probably not be disappointed if you're into what your protesting about. You'll meet plenty of interesting people anyway, too.
Protests are pretty good, and festivals. I struggle to meet guys myself though. Met lots of people at a festival I went to though
Look for local band shows. Its always great to find a girl who likes the same music as you. And this way you will already have something in common with her.
I met my girl on myspace. I didn't aproach her, she appraoched me. So social netowrking sites may be worth a shot.

i dunno about star trek tho haha jpn but i came up with a revised how to get a girl guide xD Step 1: Introduce yourself be friendly and talk in a calm voice Step 2: Learn about her ask questions dont talk about yourself unless she asks or if you can relate to her maybe lie if you gotta and possibly get her number [during step 2 you will be able to tell if shes into you or not, if shes not she wont be talking much and will be distracted, if she is shell be very talkative unless shes shy which you can usually tell by her facial expressions] Step 3: if all goes good shell either text or call you a lot, if shes some one that wants to be called or texted you gotta do all that [never had to do that tho] Step 4: shell either wana hang out or you gotta ask her just be like yea where at [im usually invited to their house, what happens next depends on your game] Step 5:YOUVE MADE IT THIS FAR CONGRATULATIONS! thats how things workout for me xD but i let them do the talking, if you can go with the flow thats what i do it takes me far too i think one time i was raped it happend so fast dunno though i heard its not rape if you willing lol
