With there being a sizable chance of being the next president of the United States, Sara Palin scares the shit out of me....

It's OK. She's just a pretty face for the public to believe runs things.

Yeah, the interview was quite entertaining. A bit like watching a deer caught in the headlights.

Gawd, she lacks humanity. I can't see a human when I look at this woman, it's annoying.

Correct. Followed by a portion of an interview. Logic would have one believe that the portion of the interview posted caused this fear. I am curious as to which part of the posted interview scared the shit out of her.

I guess she didn't see the five past secretaries of state on television this weekend.

He and the other secretaries of state, Christoper, Albright, Kissinger, Daley and Powell, all agreed that communications/discussions should be openned at a cabinet level with Iran.

This woman is an undereducated, untested loose cannon. Who seems to be caught up in some illogical hero worship for McCain.

I think this part should scare all of us.

Putin has been doing Alaskan flyovers...since when? We are sending who out from Alaska to keep an eye on Russia?

^ yeah it seems like she just makes shit up...

I thought the scariest part was her almost dog-like devotion to Israel...

So what I get from this is that we prostelitizing democracy on the rest of the world under the guise of fighting a war on terrorism? Who's prepping this woman?

    and this:

We need someone like this in the Whitehouse under the quasi-control of an aged war hero, with a selective memory? I would guess he's forgotten he authored and signed anti-American statements while in captivity. Much as he seemed to forget that part of his campaign staff lobbied for Freddy Mac. And I guess he just forgot to vote 69% of the time. Maybe like Reagan he's in the early stages of Alzheimers, thing is he doesn't have GHW Bush or even Cheney as a Vice Presidential candidate.

Paris Hilton would have been a better choice.

Yeah, her bad guy/good guy thing was just plain spooky! Reminded me of Smoke em out! and Dead or Alive!, I thought McCain was promising change.

I feel a "dog-like devotion to Israel" too. I am voting for Barack Obama. I am glad that support for Israel is never an issue in an American presidential campaign. The only issue is how best to support Israel. :)

One should not evaluate a political message by the effect it has on oneself, but by the effect it has on others. Sarah Palin's statements quoted in this thread appeal to a lot of Americans. I do not feel the appeal, but I recognize it. That is why she is dangerous. She might actually be our next vice president, and our president if something happens to President McCain. :(

I have some Jewish friends that surprised me by saying they support Obama, actually anything non-republican at this point. And they class Lieberman as a republican.

Why would you feel a dog-like devotion to anything? Particularly another nation?
