I have finally found the perfect tattoo for myself!

Because my dad wouldn't allow me to get my dream tattoo (which is the text You'll Never Make a Saint of Me written in an old school way with some stars and two cats on my back - upper half) I finally know what to get. But I'll get this one on my back one day too... when I live alone and earn money on my own.. I will.

This month, I wanna get the text Rock written behind my left ear and Roll behind my right ear. I know it's very small and hardly visible, but that's it. I really feel ready to get tattooed, but not to tell my dad. And this little tat will make me feel satisfied and I won't have to argue with members of my family.

I know I may sound stupid but I'm in love with this tattoo, even though I'll get it done in a month or so.

PS: I know it will extremely hurt.

wow..i love my mom..i get new tattoos all the time and she supports it(hell even pays for them sumtimes)..she has 11 tattoos herself and owns her own morgage company...im so proud of my parents haha

First reaction is this is a bad idea, but if it makes you happy, who am I to say don't get it.

I'd wait and convince your dad your original idea is a good one.

well I feel more sure to love rock and roll for next sixty years than to agree with "you'll never make a saint of me"...

and I think about it every day and the more I do the more I'm convinced that Rock'n'Roll is the perfect one.

I have 1 tattoo... it is of a skunk, yep pepe' la pew holding a heart and it says Lil Stinker in the heart. I got this tattoo for my dad because when I was a kid I loved woody wood pecker. So my dad got a tat of woody. My dad has always called me stinker, so what else comes with stinker besides a skunk... I love my tat and have no regrets on getting it.
