Well it was really easy.. kinda like being a camp counselor.. that school is so incredibly easy on the kids.. they're fun. My boss is very laid back, doesn't give a shit about anything.. young.. the music teacher is cute!
thats cool, im glad for you. Its really important to feel nice and to have fun at your working place, so it can give you energy and not take it away from you.
I went to that school for a year in 8th grade.. at the time, I hated it.. but that's because my parents had just moved to Spain from France for the first time and I was 14 and going through a crisis.. and I didn't wanna leave my school, and my friends.. and I was really into this guy who I was planning on dating but it never happened cause my parents moved!! So I hated that school haha - well for like 2 months, then I made new friends. Some of the teachers I had at the time are still there. After that year I went back to France alone.. lived with my grandparents and went to boarding school during the week - best year of my life. Then I went back to Spain and school for another year then the U.S then.. a year of doing nothing and finally getting a G.E.D - in Madrid - well my high school years really were all over the place.
hah you are quite a traveler. I really want to go to France one day, its seems like a really romatick, dreamy place in my head.More like a fantasy than a real place. i have never been in another country my whole life and if somebody asks me if i want to go travel right in this very moment i would go without any second thoughts.
Probably.. they hired me cause I'm French and my little sister goes to the school and my other sis used to go as well and so did I so.. it shouldn't be a problem. They are lacking French workers and it's a French school so.. I have priority - and they REALLY need a secretary but even if they replace me they'll still need me to tutor.
Yes, I love traveling.. seeing different places, different people, different things.. I have always travelled all my life, I don't think I could ever settle in one place for long.
thats really nice . i hope one day i can travel too, im starting to feel really disappointed and bored from my daily life lately.
Wow, that's cool. So good luck, Penny. On Monday I first went to my new school (uni) and even though it seems pretty hard to get into those new things, I can't wait for it actually the school starts on 6th Oct, this was just such a 3-days long summer school I hope it will be fine as at your job
That is cool that you enjoyed the first day. Looking back I always hated the first day of any new job. It usually took a few weeks to get in the grove. Good for you!
Yea with me it's usually the opposite.. I like it when I start and then progressively start to dislike it.. BUT! I'll try and be optimistic.
I can totally relate! I also get bored very easily. After 10 years of working life I find myself wishing I could be a lady of leisure. Dream on...
Good luck with it. I always loved first days at jobs, college, school..A whole new experiences. But of course it gets boring with time.
I know, and it sucks. I am always excited about trying out new stuff and start new projects or things to work on, but I rarely finish them.
Oh I posted a thread about it yesterday! Secretary and French tutor to the new Spanish kids going to the French school, and English tutor
