I was an extra on Katy Brand's Big Ass Show last night. Here I am as a disciple upstaging Jesus by looking a lot holier than him. I should be in the next two episodes as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nejy9vMjZbU&feature=related
Hahaha, ok Captain Literal, I wasn't born that tall, but I'm the same height as when I met you in 2006
how funny, i hate sitcoms, but enjoy sketch comedy. i think the situational comedy wears out way before the contract to film it.
I think that may be the difference between British and American sitcoms. American sitcoms can be just as funny, but they tend to run for a dozen or so seasons with about twenty episodes per season. British sitcoms usually have about six episodes per series and often only run for two or three series. Just look at the difference between the British and American versions of the Office....
Yes, and our sitcoms are often 'authored' by a single writer or a pair working closely, responsible for every part of the script, so the best sitcoms have a dramatic arc across the series and work as a complete whole, whereas US sitcoms tend to be written by committee. Saxondale, Extras, I'm Alan Partridge to name but three work like this and the series could easily be watched as one complete 3 hour film...
i can't even watch the american version of the office. i just can't watch sitcoms at all, really. they all irritate me. i even hated seinfeld.
Wait ! is this a T.V. show ? It's funny as hell. How come I can't see it here ? Damn it. I pay alot to watch T.V. and I wana see this show. Oh well welcome to Pittsburgh. Peace
All the episodes are on Youtube. It's interesting how the Americans seem to find it a lot funnier than the Brits. Maybe we've just been saturated with this kind of humour. They're bringing out a Little Britain USA for American audiences soon, you might really like that....
