I went to the democratic headquarters on Saturday night, and there was a lady in there who told me she has a sticker on her car that reads "when Clinton lied, nobody died" . Appartantly, this sticker pissed off an anonymous republican, so this republican thought it would be funny to put an "I love Haliburton" sticker on her car. Of course she peeled it off as soon as she saw it. It's so childish the way people act around election time.
ya know...its like that republican is admitting that he/she believes that Bush and Cheney still have ties to Halliburton.
I think peeling off someone else's bumper sticker just because somebody doesn't like what it says in childish. added: the door swings both ways, left and right. everyone has the right to an opinion, don't flame me you fucktards.
I think what was said is that someone put an "i love haliburton" sticker on her car. It isnt childish to peel off a bumper sticker someone else put on her car...
I thought the debates were a bit childish, as well... those two were going at it like third graders.... Need some wood? All you do when you vandalize someone's shit is reinforce their belief that your side sucks!
I think the lady put the "haliburton" sticker on the car with the "clinton" sticker. She took the sticker off of her own car.
I actually find it humourus... It is a nice joke, to put a Republican sticker on a Democrat's car... Especially when alot of people died under Clinton... Bosnia did happen...
It's no more childish than when some protestors keyed my dad's car for havin a W04 sticker on it. At least putitng a sticker on it was cheap to fix. To claim to be hippies, most of the protestors are a brutal mob.
There's a cartoon on Comedy Channel, I believe, that spoofs a family that lives in Texas. An old guy secretly put an 'I Love NY' on the bumper of his neighbor's car. Everyone was beeping at him and truckers were cutting him off on the highway. Don't know which cartoon this is. They also spoof Ann Richards sometimes. Lots of Texas related humor.
First of all, not all protestors are hippies, and most of the protestors are NOT a brutal mob. That is a gross exaggeration. And I think it has been shown that vandalism is likely to happen to both conservatives and liberals. It's the person who is doing you wrong, not their political group. Anyone who does crap like this has a serious lack of respect for people. They wouldn't want anyone doing that shit to their car. Why do it to someone else? I just don't get people sometimes.
Speaking of stickers on cars, over the last month I have been counting stickers on cars, I've seen 309 Kerry stickers on cars, and of the 309 only 43 were on american made cars, it seems to me that for a bunch of people spouting off about keeping jobs in america and stimulating the economy they sure don't show it by what they buy. There is no scientific data behind this (I have a 1 and a 1/2 hour commute each way) so I do things to keep me from being bored. So this is just an observation don't flake out or anything
Hardly any "american made" cars are manufactured in the US anymore. They have parts from all over. My chevy has a toyota engine. THat sure is american made... My parent's are GM workers and UAW (united auto workers union) employees. Years ago they were all about the "american made" cars. Once 30,000 of their jobs went over to Mexico they started to realize that "american made" doesn't really mean much anymore.
