i have bone straight and slightly thick hair too, have had my dreads for 3.5 months...i don't use dreadheadhq soap and i wash every other day (washing frequently pushes the process along) but how did you start your dreads? if you put wax in them it might hinder your progress
but as far as me, within the last 2 weeks mine have been starting to resemble dreads enough that a few people have asked me if i have dreads and a few people have said ah yeah you have dreads how cool etc but before they didnt look like dreads at all they looked like a nuclear expirement gone wrong ontop of my head

dont roll then all dasy every day unless u want them to fall off
    leave em alone
    overworlking them will cause dammage
    there are mo sage shortcuts
how long they will take is exactly how longthey do take
    not a day sooner
and if u keep trying to rush them you will loose themm
ive hear dstorries of opl twisting theyres soi much they twist right iff..

    stip that
they dread best when you do nothing at all

if you're palmrolling the correct way, you shouldn't be breaking anything. but you're not going to be helping them dread, you'll actually be straightening the hairs out, which does not help the knotting process. only time i've ever palmrolled was several times right after washing, and that was only after a few months, when the knots were pretty well established.

the dreadwax slows the process its evil
stop palmrolling do whstever u gottwa to get every bit of wax outr then leave em alone..u can play with em abswentmindedly but dont be obseessively rubbing em

hahaha playing with em gently is perfectly fine

just some ppl obsessivly and agressiuvely "palm roll the fuck outta them all day every day"

u dont gotta palm roll at all
if u really feel u must..dont often at all do it gently..

your ptobly best off doiung nothinmg but idlytwiddling away at the ends when your minds off in the ozone.. but intentionaly rubbing away sat em isnt a great way to go

weeve all seen dready dogs before dogs have no palms to roll woth.. think about that

dreads happen if u let them..so just let them

[IMG] mu guess is over 2000 dreads..no palms
u thionk the owner spent 24 hours a day every day for months and monts rolling these? u think he hired 20 people with 20 sets of palms to make them
    ?

they happen unless u prevent them
