cut the top off a 2 liter soda bottle, and turn it inside out, stapling it together. put peanut butter and cereal in the bottom. grease the top. wedge between two sturdy objects. the mice will jump into it to get to the food, and be unable to get back out.

When I got my lion king (Turkish Angora), the rodent population moved a little further down the road.

He takes the action to them. They don't come here anymore.

Borrowing a cat helped when I had a mouse problem as well. Other than that, peanut butter will bait 'em but every humane trap *I* tried, they were able to escape from. Sure hope you find a way to fix them! Our mice eventually lured voles into the house, and those are just shy of impossible to get rid of!
