I was wondering if any other girls (or womyn...) around here get incredibly wet, "down there" sometimes... without necessarily being turned on or anything. I have heard that certain times of your cycle will mess with your fluids, but lately i have been producing more than usual, even during those times... like my underwear will be soaked... hmm..

kind of a weird, embarassing, question....

it happens to me all the time. sometimes I wear a pantyliner, those help if it's uncomfortable.

It's called discharge. It happens when you ovulate. Not a big deal--I second the panty-liner recommendation.

I don't think it's just when you ovulate. When you ovulate the "stuff" that comes out is whiter and thicker. What I meant, and what I think she meant was just general lubrication, the clear stuff that you kinda look at and go, "why is this happening now?"

I got it the other day pretty bad, had to change boxers. Then again, my boxers were ridden up into my butt

Yeah, and powder helps as well. Only cornstarch powder though because talcum powder has been linked to ovarian cancer.

I just bip off to the washroom a bit more often and make sure I clean up really well (wipe my underwear too). it happens to me every couple months, so I don't really think it's necessarily linked to ovulation.

That happened to me yesterday. Sometimes I get like this jelly looking stuff that comes out, either colourless or white. It's not what you're probably thinking. I've had it ever since I've been having periods.

okay i normally get weird jelly-like stuff one day a month also.... this is just normal.. recently i've been getting really really wet, not sweat, not this thicker ovulating discharge... wet like i've been making out with somebody and am really really horny or something.... but of course i'm not... so.. yeah.. i was just wondering if this happens to anybody else, and it seems it does! yay, i am not a freak! i realized though that it kinda makes me feel sexy too... as a contradiction to when i used to have problems in sex because i would need lube... but i did end up wearing pantyliners.

    thanks for the responses, btw!

yes I get this. I was wondering the same too.
I also wondered is it normal to get discharge everyday? because I do and it's kinda put me off ever doing anything with a guy when I've had the chance coz I'm scared it's not meant to be there and they'll think I'm abnormal! eek!

In younger women it may be a hormonal thing...as you get further up and over the hill the opposite may start to happen.
But when you're younger there are alot of ups and downs woth hormones and you may produce more body temp at different times of the month also as far as the seat thing goes.
Now that I am over 40 I am alot drier at times but still have sticky days too.
Am not horny at all for awhile then WHOA look out...I'm too hot to handle...getting around that menopausal time can kinda do that to you.

Heh, I was about to ask the exact same question. Sometimes I have to change my underwear three or four times because of that. It's awful. I guess the panty liner suggestion is my best choice in that area. :)

I wish I had this problem. :( I'd be so happy. I'm the opposite.
