Thanks for sharing :) It's really fun to see how they're forming and growing. They're looking really good.

i just love ur dreads. i just have a question do u do any crocheting? They look so neat, at least at the hairline u dont have loose hairs. Did u do anything or does that just happen after they mature a lot?I do very little maintenance only to remake the tips round or around the hair line. The rest is natural.

ceochetting is not generaly recommended (no offence woerldpeace whos got gorgouse locks)
it invilves stickimng a nreedle through the dread, to pull in a loose hair.. fir every 1 u pull in though u break many others which can come out requiring more pulling in..
overall it can weaken drewads over time.. and the worse part is..if u stop crocherttting, the new growth that comesin narural has as distictly different look and feel to it so you get a sharop contrasting line between the 2..crochetted paty looking woven and the natural part more naturaly haphazardly knootted

if u choose to do it expect to have to do it the restogf the dread life if you dont want the shatp contrast

and dont overdo it or u could perforate a dread so bad it falls off

well actually... this: and the worse part is..if u stop crocherttting, the new growth that comesin narural has as distictly different look and feel to it so you get a sharop contrasting line between the 2 .......... is not true..

and the hairs don't break either.. I use what's called a smyrna needle (don't know if there's another word for in english). This needle pulls the hair through and not IN the dread, so the hair won't break off, I break more hairs by ripping 'm apart then by crocheting.
