How long do u want your dreads to grow?

I want mine till I can sit on them how bout the rest of you? I have along way to go though.

30 more feet if i could stop losing chunks off the ends from being stepped on..

 

as long as they want to.. my old hair was unable to grow past shoulder length, it just stopped growing... my dreads are just past shoulder length now, so that might be it for me lol

 

i'm aiming for halfway down my back

 

long enough to tie in a knot on top of my head.

 

Just long enough for them all to get tied back and none flop down onto my face!

So about the top of my back

 

to my knees would be nice

 

i want to be able to sit on them. and then after i get them so long i can hardly believe they're so long, i'll prolly keep 'em "trimmed" to my waist-ish. i just know how heavy they are on me already, and they're barely to my shoulders. they're gonna be crazy heavy when they get even longer.

i don't wanna go swimming and be dragged down by the weight of my dreads, lol!

although i made a joke the other day about how when i have babies, they can learn to walk by holding on to my dreads... and the idea's kinda cute. i guess we'll see when i get there.

i was in the pool the other day..i noticed my dreads were ontop of the water.. out oif it mostly
i lookked closer.. the dreads underwater were completely covered in tiny bubbles
i spread em all oround me and started rubbung off the bubbles..they srill floated.. i squeezed them all along the length..millions of bubblers were trapped inside
2 hours in the pool squeezing dresads making billions of bubbles escape and still even though they sank somewhat they stayedc semo boyant...
they seemed alive then moving all around me like snakes.. bobbing and weaving and dancing in the mopst mesmerizing ways

 

crazy. well, i definitely know that when they get wet, they weigh a ton!

 

All around the neighborhood. I'm gonna let them shine! Seriously, how long do I want my dreadlocks to grow? It's up to them. I'm not stopping the process!

I want long dreads, to my back. I've never ever had long hair bcause my hair, being curly, just stops after a while. I'm hoping now they're gonna get it going and grow long.

I've always loved long dreads...

 

My realistic goal I set when I started dreading was to get them down to my waist. I'm getting close now, I think 1 more year max and they'll definitely be there.

 

As long as they want....... Right to the buttocks as of now......

My kids didn't hang onto my dreads while learning to walk but they use to love playing with them while nursing...awwww, it was adorable

 

i want to only just be able to sit on them ....maybe a lil shorter...there currently half way or more down my back so ... got a good start.

 

Definately to the top of my ass Just to think, if were all still members here in years, how we'll all have such beautiful long dreads
