best hippie movies

Sheesh, why didn't I think of Alice in Wonderland? That's a hippie/stoner as it gets. lol

 

i loooove alice in wonderland. the old disney version is the beeessst. the remakes are shit. without trying, the cartoon is trippy as fuck. the imitation ones try to be trippy and look just stupid.

 

Alice in Wonderland is what you get when you write children's books on Acid.

Tieddye- actually when Lewis Carrol wrote that book, there was no lsd. but supposedly he did use a fungus that had a hallucinogenic agent in it. also, he was a heavy marijuana smoker. haha

and I loved across the universe, i dont care how mainstream it is. lol!

 

I really love the Matrix, Spun, and Swing Kids... and for ones I'd rather forget, I think possibly Go and Groove.

easy rider was good. i hated the ending it made me sad.

The Doors was pretty damn good.

I liked Across the Universe, but i agree its mainstream.

 

Anyone ever watched Dumbo while being high or tripping?
I think there are some pretty insane parts in it (such as the scene where Dumbo gets "drunk". You gotta love those pink elephants on parade)

 

Hey guys! My favorite one is called In Search of America. It was made in the early 70's and Jeff Bridges plays is this dude who buys a school bus, drops out of college and drives around with his whole family in this renovated bus. He even takes his old granny to a woodstock-like festival! Its hard to find, but its great! 2 thumbs up!!

 

I don't like Dumbo. It depresses me. Poor elephants.

The Doors was a fucking awesome movie, though. I loved Val Kilmer in it. I think he did a great job as Jim. Plus, I think they look sooo much alike. (Both are sexy as hell)

 

"Billy Jack" and "Easy Rider" are the best imo


but i can think of a few that aren't even about hippys at all that a hippy spirit would enjoy
