I posted this in Random Thoughts, but the more names I get the better haha. And yay, John and I are having a baby! Help me. I already stole Sophia from Janja, so hopefully some of you will have other good baby names. I was bored and I got this book with baby names, it's ridiculous, for girl's names it has things like Chardonnay haha, I mean there are some ok names, but some of the things there are just hilarious. I need a pretty name that sounds good with Sophia and that it has a global pronunciation. I dont want people back home saying a name all weird. The thing is that a lot of the names I like end in ia. Some of the names I like are Zoe, Emily, Isabel, Mia and from those the only one that I think sounds good with Sophia is Isabel. Sophia Isabel but John doesnt like Isabel and until now Sophia is the only name we both like and I know it's super early and all, but I dont want to pick some random name at the last minute. Oh and boys names are welcome too And everybody can just tell me their names too, to see if I find anything I like
just a quick qestion: when your kids are older and ask what their name means, are you going to tell them you asked for it on an internet forum website?
My ex had a cat called indica I've thought about this before and have always liked Mia, like you said, for a girl, also Alice and Marta... For a boy I've always been keen on Julian (aka Jules) for some reason... I'm not planning on kids any time soon, just liked those names Congratulations to you both and all the best with the littleun
Congratulations!!!! Here is my favorite Baby Name web site. http://www.babyhold.com/ Celtic names are very popular right now. Check it out. I liked Aoife and Aiden.
I like the name Sophia, I think it's a very pretty name. I like the sound of it, I like how is written out. Some name have beautiful meanings, some dont and still are beautiful, but the reality is a name is a name. All of my brothers and sisters were given names for no particular reason, just because my parents liked them, except for my first name that is after my grandmother and I love both my names. I dont need some romantic story of how my name was picked out. How is it any different picking out a name that one of you might tell me, than picking it out from a book of names or wherever really? And that is if it turns out that I get a name that I really like.
my names taylor suzanne regina.. lol not very nice names but in case you were interested my last names pretty plain but its not like a first name so, yeah
I named my child after a Star Trek character, not one of the main ones but a side person. Not because I really liked the character or person but because I was watching the show and I was hey, that's a good name. Hey honey what do you think of .... and she was like.....I like it and so there we go.
I like aubrey, clare (claire) and rosamond for boys, Mason and brandon. If I ever have a kid I seriously wanna name her Mary Jane. Unfortunately, My family, being mexican already has a butload of Marias.
