I just heard that there's a strong possibility that Pink Floyd is planning a tour in the near future with all the original members. Anyone else heard this? How fucking cool would that be?
That would be the best. They are one of the only bands that I *NEED* to see before they shut down touring.
They already have. When I saw them in 1994 it was their farewell tour in promotion of The Division Bell which had just been released. David Gilmour was quoted as saying that this was the last time. Of course alot of bands have done that last one after it was suppposed to be the last one. All I'm saying is for the love of God let it be true!!!! As for the original members thing......that I'd wouldn't be so sure of..... but yeah rumors fly at will so unless you had some other info you could probably dismiss it....
Well that is one rumour I hope to be true, although Im sure it most likely isnt.....I havent heard anything anyway. I saw Roger Waters in 2000 and I would honestly just be happy to see him again......it was a beautiful show!
That would be awesome, but I'll believe it when I see it. If they do, you can bet I'm gonna get tickets though!
yep they are all still alive. sprout is right, but some bands are known for going back on their word... IE: The Eagles We won't count KISS because they have been doing a Farewell tour for the past 10+ years. Good way to milk it Gene.
Ive been hearing the same rumour for 10 years now, dont get your hopes up people. Roger is the only one that will probably be touring next year, because he will have a new album out.
Gilmour has a new album out as well. But I don't see him touring to support it. If he does, it will be low-key and probably not in the states.
yup, he usually does a few gigs in england. He is a daddy now, and I dont see him going out on tour any time soon.
i pray to motherfucking god that it may be true. i will stop at no ends to see them. oh god that would kick so much ass.
I saw them when i was maybe 15...it was really good actually, lots of special effects...of course they are about 17 years older now.
For those interested, David Gilmour put out a DVD two years ago. Check Amazon or you local record shop for details. Waters has also... but I've never been a fan of his solo stuff.
