Is it okay to try LSD for the first time if your manic depressive as long as you don't take it when you're experiencing depression? thanks for your help!

It may provide a new perspective on your contition.

Don't be thinking about this question when you eat your dose, just BE.

I feel that the majority of common psychological issues are perceptions of the individual that have been learned due to exposure to the terms associated with their percieved ailments.

for instance, in 1965, how many people were "manic depressive" and how many were "moody"

My one buddy suffered from schizofrenia for a long time, LSD straightened him right out and now he is so different, for the better..

    Good luck :)

Your rolling dice by taking LSD in your manic state. It might amplify the depressive emotions you feel or who knows it might be a amazing happy trip

    Yes indeed,

Doctors and pharmacists benefit when they convince patients that they have a disease or condition that requires treatment. Labeling someone with a disease can make them feel helpless. There are many cases when a patient was diagnosed with cancer and the reaction to that diagnosis caused the condition to accelerate. Labeling someone with schizophrenia and convincing them that they need to take medication for the rest of their life will in most cases only aggravate the situation. If the same person was told by friends and family that it is okay that they are different and that over time they will learn to work with their gifts and differences in ways that will benefit themselves and society the individual would have a much better prognosis.

Sometimes people can benefit from the use of drugs to get them through difficulties in life but I feel that labeling someone with a disease, be it physical or mental is very dangerous. You're not bipolar, you are a creative genius who at times has difficulty in life. I've known a few people who doctors said were bipolar and the benefits of this condition far outweigh the difficulties if the person can learn to apply themselves. Labeling someone with bipolar or manic-depressive disorder tends to make the person feel like less of a person or incapable of living a good life.

Every human being is unique so there is no such thing as normal. There is something wrong with everyone as we all have our lessons to learn, gifts to use and burdens to work with or rid ourselves of. Doctors and pharmacists have for many many years capitalized on this fact. They make huge profits out of convincing people that they have no control over their disease or condition and that they need some sort of treatment that they will sell you. Doctors and pharmacists serve a purpose and there are many situations in life when we can utilize their services in a way that is beneficial to our health and well-being but for the most part they are crooks and scammers who care very little about your recovery as they are too concerned with how they are going to pay for a nice big house and fancy cars.

LSD can help you like it has helped many others. Be careful mixing LSD with certain pharmaceuticals, it works well with some and bad with others. Do some research on www.erowid.org. The last thing you want to do is trip if you are nervous or afraid of a what will happen, so do plenty of research and talk to his many experienced trippers as you need to feel comfortable.

great post 3xi i very much agree with it

but yeah it is a roll of the dice if you are suffering from mental issues. it could make it better it could make it alot worse it could do nothing. if you are ready to face your problem head on it could have alot of positive effects. but be ready for anything cause i guarantee you will be faced with things you never imagined.

just imagine taking acid and fucking your head for the rest of your life, its a scary thought.

everyone has their own trip. people can use lsd to forge their minds. but only if they apply themselves. if they give in to reacting instead of instigating, then the trip can simply reinforce negative thought patterns
