that probably isn't what sangria is supposed to be, at least with the sprite in there. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that.
sangria gets me drunk in a weird way, kind of like jager.

ya we sort of improvise, but sprite in red wine is so good, we use sprite zero though cause of calories and.....
we used E&J too, lol.

i'm a fan of the classics
i love me a well made long island ice tea
and i looooove my old man drink the tom collins, which is basically gin and soda and bar lime
and i always drink singapore slings and think of thompson

i created this one drink at a house party years ago, my one friend was being a dick by asking for "sky juice"
but i went in the house and got that blue raspberry koolaid and mixed it with vodka
it was mother fucking sky juice and it was delicious

 

sprite and white wine makes great spritzers, sangria is usually red wine and different juices

according to wiki tit usually contains brandy and soda as well, so you basically made it without realizing

My fave drinks are:

Bloody Marys, on slow Sundays.
Mojitos, on sultry summer nights.

I'm more a sours man than a sweet one.

amaretto sours are my favourite mix of sweet and sour
and whiskey sours
sours are so simple just bar lime and alchy shaken and served over ice
and i make a mean bloody mary, although i'm more of a caesar fan personally
i like them a little spicy, i'll drink rye and gingers and then switch to caesars all night long
i haven't had a caesar in so long

i'm gonna think about a drink, maybe even actually try making one up and then i'll get back to you
this gives me an excuse to experiment

 

I drank about five of these or maybe it was six... needless to say, I usually dont drink, so i was not feeling any pain. had no idea what was in them

50ml Gin
25ml Cherry Brandy
5ml Sugar syrup
15ml Fresh Lime Juice
Dash of Angostura bitters
Soda Water

the good looking bartender made them bigger and way better than the lady bartender.

here's an authentic cuban mojito recipe for ya red...
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
Juice from 1 lime (2 ounces)
4 mint leaves

1 sprig of mint
Havana Club white Rum (2 ounces)
2 ounces club soda​

 

the rock a bye baby

everclear
sage
grapefruit
blueberry jelly
ginger ale
orange peel
gold

in a blender

Aidan, that's a very nice name. I remember Carrie's bf Aidan on Sex and the City ( wish she would have married him) and thought 'man, what a cool name'.
That is going in my baby name lexicon.

 

It means 'Little Fire' and comes fro the Celtic god of the sun Aodh.

That sorta makes it a little cooler I think.

You don't seem like a girly drink kinda man, so I am assuming you have never had them, but pomegranite mojitos are fab.

Zombie:


1/2 oz Bacardi 151
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 tsp sugar
2 oz white rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lime juice


Blend all ingredients with ice except Bacardi 151. Pour into a collins glass. Float Bacardi on top. Garnish with a fruit slice, sprig of mint and a cherry.

 

olhippie already took mine....i'm a fan of a dry martini myself. i never make them for myself anymore cause i wake up the next day with only 1/3 of a bottle of gin and a decent dent put in the vermouth

hendricks martinis are spectacular. hendricks gin is made with cucumbers in addition to the normal herbs like juniper...gives it an amazing mild, mellow taste. i dont usually garnish my martinis, but cucumber slices in a hendricks martini is nice!

also i like mojitos a lot, but only homemade and never the standard way with white rum.

sailor jerry's spiced navy rum (one of the only spiced rums i'll touch) has some cherry and caramel flavors, and goes amazingly well with red grapefruit juice.

try a carbomb but substitute youngs double chocolate stout for the guinness

everclear screwdrivers are tasty

i dunno. take some good single malt scotch, pour it in a glass. maybe add an ice cube or two. drink
