I have searched this forum and I have looked at a few sites about making mushroom tea, but I still am not very clear on what to do. If I put a cup of water into a pot, boil the water on a stove, take the pot off of the stove, and let the mushrooms sit in the water for like 10 minutes will that make me trip when i drink it? I know this is a dumb question but I want to make tea in order to reduce nausea for my 1st trip.
Why would anybody want to make tea from mushrooms? The usual manner is to buy tea either in leaf form or in tea bags. You'll get them from any supermarket. To make a good brew, boil the water. Pour on tea/teabags and let it be for a few minutes. Pour into cup and add sugar and milk to taste. If it's a decent leaf, darjeeling, earl grey, mabawsaritchy etc don't add milk drink it native style.
people make tea from mushies all the time man. Its supposed to not make you nauseous, like eating them does. I just want to know the simplest way to do it.
omg lol listen. Normally when people eat mushrooms they get nauseous, SO some people make mushroom tea instead of eating the actual mushrooms themselves. what's the simplest way to do this????
People usually don't have much problem with mushrooms. It's the cactus that can play with your stomach. But if you want to make a tea, you can soak a few grams of powdered shrooms in simmering hot water for 5-10 minutes, then send it through a coffee filter or press. You can then use the hot water to make some hot chocolate if you like. Psilocybin is more durable than some people give it credit for. Just don't give it too hard of a boil for too long and you should be okay. It's not that complicated. Lots of room for error.
ok thanks, i thought i could just throw a couple mushrooms in some hot water and have tea lol I'm takin the easy route and just eatin them.
