some of you people are crazy! i used to live 20 minutes away from work so i moved closer...

it's about 6-15 minutes now depending on traffic, usually on the low end of that though

i work at home, so... about 1/2 a minute from my bedroom to my "office"

in ny it was horrendous though... 2 hrs each way on a good day. there's always traffic, but bad weather would make it worse.

how do you get there, by train? how long does that take you?

my dad goes from eastern PA to brooklyn ny and it takes him close to 3 hrs the entire way by bus and subway. he's about 95 miles out... i know he sleeps on the bus, but i still don't know how he manages to function. he's crazy

I used to do the hour long commute thing, it sucked.

We live about 5 blocks from our shop. I feel bad because my husband and I drive to work in different vehicles because he goes in earlier than I do. I keep thinking that I should get a bicycle.

Bus from Oxford to central London, then train to south London. Takes about two and a half to three hours altogether, depending on traffic. I could always drive and save a bit of time but I don't have the confidence to drive through London, it's too crazy and also parking places on the campus are non-existant. O well.. it's only for the next year, and I'm only in three days a week or so, so I'm hoping it'll be ok. How long has your dad been doing that? I'm on my second day and I'm already tired of it, hahah. :D
