Good job, Chuck, I've trained you well. Lol, just kidding.. Now, on a more serious note.. You both know my feelings on this, but I'll state it simply once again. If you want change, Kerry isn't the way to go. That won't change shit. You said yourself that it's a gradual process and every step counts. Honestly, I think you need to check into it more before you go about supporting what you probably don't understand to the fullest. Just a thought.
With ya on that one man. Norfolk is one of the biggest military places on the East Coast. Aren't we fortunate?
i agree so much with the bolded statement, that should be the rule for all people who decide to vote or get into it. a gradual process would not be nader coming out of the fucking sky and becoming president already, i think alotta people would agree that change was pretty speedy. and i disagree that kerry wont change things, i think he will, not very much change and not the change wed all like to see, but he will be a lot better than bush i think... edit* gradual steps would consist of kerry in office, or me with my fliars , the journey of a thousand steps begins with one.
Ah, so just because it doesn't affect us we shouldn't worry about it?? I thought your whole argument was that people didn't care enough.. Hmm...
that is a big part of my argument when i argue, and its so true and applicable to so many things... im not saying dont care because it doesnt affect us, certain decisions do need to be made to ensure a better future, but the now is also very important, because its all that truely exists...that would be a pretty weird path to a better future, voting bush back in...although the darkest hour is before the dawn, hmm...
I'm not sure what you're first sentence means, but if it is what I think it is, I wrote this and nobody else.... You're not getting what I said. Can you even list reasons why you hate Bush and support Kerry? And with Kerry having brains, don't you think thats a little mroe dangerous? Think about it...oh, and I'd love to hear your reasons on why Kerry is better than Bush, and please no one interrupt
I know Nader isn't going to win out of nowhere, I'm not an idiot. That doesn't mean that it can't be that way one day. But you have to act now if you want change in the future!
im not a nitty gritty english teacher, i dont pay attention to many details, i look at the big picture which is truely important imho, i also try to keep things peacefull even here on the forums...
No one's talking about Nader becoming president, he won't win and he knows it...unless everyone stood up for what they thought was right and knew about what was going on, then Nader would have a chance. I higly doubt you've looked into any of the candidates, for if you did, you would be supporting Nader.
okay and what are you acting on besides telling me earlier that its all pointless and that you dont care anymore? i thought i was the one acting, with the fliars... the acts are small, were curing a pretty big disease here people, doctors are as rare as stars in the sky these days
what big picture? can you even name any differences between the two for the big picture in the middle east? Kerry wants to send more troops than Bush, is that better in any way?
I'm not pissed off....you support Kerry and I would like to know why. I get the feeling you are blindly following a bandwagon.
i have faith, no im not catholic, but i have faith in certain people because ive seen them be right about a lot of other things, so i figure they are right on about this one as well.
I was referring to not caring about Bush and Kerry and this election. This won't change anything. Elections don't change anything. America is not a true democracy. At least I can see that.
What else has Kerry been right on? He voted for the war, and said that even knowing the facts now, that he would have invaded Iraq.
not kerry man, other people, including some on here. you know your right, we are spirits living in a material world, and theres no political solution says the police, and their right... loveeeeeeeeeeeeee is the answer, cant argue with john lennon, and to love we have to understand why it is the answer, and the world doesnt have understanding or love anymore, were lost, so lost.....
now that weve found out the whole thing is essentially pointless, yeah lets keep arguing!!!! i was referring to people, not kerry, but everyday people like you and me, people you see walking down the street and pass them off like you probably would anybdoy else, people who have tuned in, and percieve truth, and live love...my logic was if they percieve truth about so many other things, they are probably percieving truth about politics.
