So, what do you think is an effective way to protest? Violence? Peace?

We know that you cant rely on the media to get your message or your actions across. Atleast with the current ways people protest.

Maybe violence can work, but you can easily be labeled a terrorist, and some have a problem with hurting those who come against you, even though they will meet you with violence.

Can the hippie ideal of effective change and rebellion through peace come to fruitation in these times of apathy and media white noise? Or are times beginning to become desperate, which calls for a spicier set of resistance?

How about we share some ideas of protest and resistance that can atleast have some effect on the sheeple.

    Nothing beats being in public.

Well behaved. "Decent" looking, because looks do count in this instance. If you look like Charles Manson, you're not going to help your message. You have to keep their attention focused, so the way you look shouldn't compete with what you're trying to say.

Cindy Sheehan is a good example.

Be articulate. Don't froth at the mouth like a Islamic radical on the afternoon news.

And know your stuff. You better have good answers for those who will inquire what you're up to. Otherwise, you look like a idiot and defeat the purpose of protest.

I'm all for peace, but at the same time I wonder if peaceful protests will work, or maybe stir up some trouble.

I think this is the better form of action.
    Is it a "protest"?
    Not sure.
It certainly will get more done I imagine

You start a violent protest, people will just ignore your message and talk only about how protesters became violent. So it's not worth it.
