Thank you for that...I've seen many of those images before, they always cramp my gut. Perhaps the hardest to see is the noose being placed around that kids neck. The only way I can make sense of the hatred is to assume that pure evil does exist. I cannot understand how somene can willingly give themselves to evil though.
The fruits of ignorance and misguided religion can appear to be pure evil, but believe it or not, behind it all is actually essentially good people trying to do what they believe is good but just very very very confused about what that is. I'm sure those guys putting the nooses on those kids were fighting their own natural goodness every step of the way to achieve that tragic outcome of what they wrongly believed to be good because that's what the beliefs of their culture tell them is good. It is hard though to see things like that as anything but pure evil. It is in a sense, because it brings only suffering to the world, but if you understand it as simply being pure evil then no solution exists.
