so ive been getting these really weird pains in my sternum like every other night. isnt really painful more like uncomfortable and i get shortness of breathe. does anyone havy any idea what could be wrong?

iv also get uncomfortable pains on my upper back like at the tip of my spine where it meets my neck.

these used to happen once and a while but i have recently begun to get them regularly.

I think HHB has it. I didn't think I was stressed at the time I was having really bad chest pains and shortness of breath until I had a nice panic attack and hyperventilated/fingers went numb. Well, it went away with time, lifestyle changes, and 2 months of Lexapro but came back recently after I started school again.

While I was on the anti-depressants, I made an effort to work on myself and stress-dealing techniques. Now the pain in my sternum comes and goes but never gets near as bad as it used to.

I also cut out most of my caffeine intake as I realized caffeine really does put a great amount of stress on my body. Refined sugars are the next thing to go, because I am now aware of the psychophysical effects they have on my body.

I'm pretty sure any conventional or nonconvential doctor will tell you it's just stress. The cartilege in between your ribs gets inflamed and causes problems.
