I am such a fucking cornball but that's my favorite song at this very moment. It reminds me of the Chinese place Daniel's sister used to work at, we used to eat there on a family discount and that song was on their mix tape of like 7 songs they looped all the time, lol. Ahhh...now I want some sesame chicken.

 

That song reminds me of that part on The Stand when Molly Ringwald and Corin Nemec are listening to that 45...

 

i saw them in concert back when i was in high school. it was a crowded house/split enz show. LOVED IT.

i don't know; i've missed out on a lot of songs that are supposedly unavoidable... i really don't know where people keep hearing this music though...

but like i said, i have to have heard it at least once; so maybe it just wasn't that memorable to me before.

 

you know, crowded house did that song recently, with the chorus "don't stop now, give me something i can write about." or something like that. awesome song. i loved it.
