What was the last cool present you recieved?

 

A perfume ( okay, not so cool and original, but whatever ) from my soon to be brother in law

Givenchy. Amarige.

 

my kid drew me a picture of a shoe.

 

I don't know its been a while since I got a present

But my birthday is in a couple weeks so hopefully that will change.

 

i recently wrote a girl her own story for her bday. it was good too. i was very impressed by myself! its in the writers forum actually. i fear ive probably spoiled her for all future birthdays.

 

i'm pretty sure i haven't gotten a present since last time this thread topic came up. and i'm pretty sure my answer that time was that i haven't gotten a present recently enough to remember...

 

My fiance's mum gave me a baby size t-shirt as a hint the other day She's so desperate for grandchildren I'm surprised she hasn't yet locked us in a room with candles and rose pedals and stuff and played us Barry White..

You're good at taking hints though. If I was given a baby size T-shirt I'd assume people were telling me I need to lose weight.

I love it! It even came with a CD of body prayers (in Aramaic).
A friend of mine got the book, and I was really into it, so he bought it for me the next day.
Very kind, if I don't say so myself.

 

That's what I said to her at first, like are you saying I need to lose weight, and acted all offended She was so horrified and started apologizing, it was funny.. I could never get offended with what she does though, she's lovely and we're always messing with each other. Cool mum-in-law.

And yea, no rush on the baby thing.. I've just started grad school, I wanna finish that before any baby distractions.

My favorite gifts are always the ones that are free to the gifter. Nothing makes me smile bigger than having my friends sing to me on my birthday. The coolest would have to be the Tom Petty concert tickets from my parents for my 18th birthday.

 

I know this girl whose presence is always appreciated.
