Except for the itchy eyes and wheezing sinuses, I just find spring such a mysterious and wildly beautiful time of year. The hills are carpeted in a glorious green and dotted with wildflowers. It can be unbearably hot, dry and dusty in the morning and in the afternoon rain, lightening and cold wind can be tearing through the streets. Nesting birds attack people. Poisonous snakes come out to bask in the sun. Kangaroos have babies. Deciduous trees start to bud. Women start wearing summer clothes. It never fails to be interesting, unlike summer and winter - long, boring and hot or cold.
Its really only nice in winter and spring. Summer is too hot to do anything other than swim and by autumn all the water has dried up and everything is poo brown. I want to live in Canada more than anything.
