Lucky unfortunately I know all too well about the love/hate for opiates. Your brain will trick you into thinking your pain is beyond manageable unless you have your drug. I've fought with these demons many many many times.

Relayer said it all. Congratulations Relayer for finding your way and getting rid of the crap that stole from you.

Does anyone know how long it takes for your endorphins to naturally get happy without having to take anything to make them happy?

And what does Gotta go cop mean? I don't know what that means. lol

The way your brain naturally responds to pain is to release controlled amounts of endorphins which attach to the opioid receptors in your brain reliving pain.

When you take opiates, they also have this affinity for attaching to the opiod receptor. Causing the relief from pain and such.

After the drug wears off, your naturally occurring endorphins will have a lower affinity to the opiod receptors for a few hours.

You will in fact be experiencing the pain slightly more after the drugs wear off. That's why they should be taken when the pain is most obvious.

I would reccomend you avoid them all together.

You should realise that migraines aren't caused by a deficiency of opiates/panadol. You're just forcing the pain back, but not taking care of the real issue, the source of the migraine.
