Throw some suggestions i want some new music~

 

*lazer sword (also bay area, lots of hip hop incorporated, you would like them if your into the glitch mob, especially edIT as he is more hip hop), although you might have to just go to their myspace as im not real sure where to find any of their music...
*heyoka (less hip hop, more dub, cool though. a recent one i found..)
*skeetaz (bil bless and kilowatts doing original breakbeat, glitchy, funkness..my personal favorite, but theres no hip hop, its just straight filthy...)...their album "off" is one of the best albums ive ever heard.period.
*sub swara (i think you would like it if you like the hip hop stuff)
*vibesquad (if you havent check him yet, i strongly suggest you do so, hes one of my favorites...and just kills it live....his album "Bass Love" is just fantastic...)

vibesquad is Aaron Holstein from the band ZILLA who is also amazing, but nothing like the glitch hop scene like your after..zilla is more instrumental, innovative, experimental and universal i think but they are worth a listen if you are looking for something thats truly original, they are one of my favorites of all time...Zilla's fest, Sonic Bloom was just incredible this year as it had all 4 of the glitch mob, bassnectar, lotus, praang (eoto with jamie janover from zilla and steve kimock on guitar...best show ever), eoto, zilla, vibesquad, jantsen, bluetech, eskmo (also good hip hop/breaks you would like), dude i could really go on...it was just insane...its my top priority to make it next summer, its in Colorado)

<addictech.com> has all your needs....you can either pay to buy albums, or just listen and find new stuff...but its solely glitchy, breaks, hip hop, electronic, dub, idm, etc....you will be able to find plenty of new stuff (and all the stuff i listed earlier) to listen to there...enjoi

oh and p.s. if you want to see that glitch mob set, and praang from that sonic bloom festival i was talking about, check <iclips.net> because they archived it there and you can just watch the vid for free! you can watch the entire set....boreta of the glitch mob, who i think is the best played his signature bubblin in the cut song, which is like the nastiest thing ever...its dope man...and make sure you watch the praang too, iclips is so sick..

Pnuma Trios shit is sooooooo good right now......i really enjoy the new CD they just put out~

word! yea dude, that pnuma album has a few really solid tracks on it....the more i listen to it, the more i enjoy it. But ive just been listening to some other stuff lately. I remember seeing pnuma back when they just started in 05, and they just rocked it. then they added the guitar player in 06 (which was when they were at their finest imo) and they just blew up after that. this is their next stage...little more pa approach now, but whatever, i have only seen their new material live when they were still in the studio, so im sure they are sounding a lot better now than last time i saw them.

let me know if you like/dont like any of that stuff, and i will shoot you some more reccommendations....ive just been listening my ass off to nothing but stuff like this the past year or two...so i have a few peace bro, happy trails....


edit: i found a lazer sword mix from their myspace, its got like 19 tracks on it..not too shabby. check it out sometime if you like it..definitely some bay area glitch hop

I love stuff like glitch mob and telefon tel aviv......but i love the incorporation between electronics,laptops and live instruments....it gives me everything I need.....

oh yea.....Thievery Corporation was boss at Rothbury.......but who would doubt that~

 

alright i gotcha...i love telepath, never seen them though. Love their sound tho.. zilla is probably exactly what your looking for if you havent heard them yet. All Iz, Egg are two very very good albums...MO2 is coming to my town in a couple months, im gonna check them out...you would also probably like Praang (check them out on iclips) especially if you like EOTO too....

yeah, prefuse 73- one word extuinguisher is a good album (not sure if its his 1st one, but he is def. worth a listen)
