My parents bought a piano 5 years ago - and back then, none of us could actually play it. But as soon as both my sister and I started taking piano lessons, we were doing really well! Unfortunately I have forgotten how to read notes, but I can still play a few songs. Give it a chance, it is actually a lot of fun. At least you might be able to impress some people by playing piano
Piano lessons ? I dont know...We'll see. Impress some people ? Lol....I hope you're not talking about boys
well yeah.. I did actully mean people xD People always get impressed when you tell them that you play an instrument, let along actually play it for them
My father bought a piano for me on the day I was born. It was one of the last Lester's to be made before they went out of business. I learned to play on that piano when I was 5, carried it to California and Texas and NY with me. I went to Asia from Texas in 1988 and left it with a friend. He promptly moved to Ogden, UT and then joined me in Asia. I was sitting in a bar in Songtan, Korea one night and he just walks in. My first reaction wasn't "Hey Jim! How are you?" it was "WTF are you doing here and where is my piano? He gave it to some Mormons. So I spent 15 years looking for the same make and model before I gave up and bought a small studio piano on eBay for $50 last year. My life actually got better since I let go of that old Lester. And having a piano in the house is a comfort to me. Except that I sometimes wake at 3am and play movie themes and that makes everyone mad at me. Fuck em.
My grandma forced me into lessons. I was never to happy to hear my teacher got gotten parkinsons and wasn't able to teach any longer. We had a huge fucking piano. Man, it twas ugly.
What do you mean by big? As in a grand piano? God damn, I'd kill to have a grand piano. They're beautiful.
