....bison. check it, there are two kinds of actual buffaloes.... the water buffalo: the african buffalo: and this is a bison: the water buffalo is Bubalus arnee the african buffalo is distantly related to the water buffalo, but still a true buffalo. it is Syncerus caffer the bison is not a buffalo, but looks somewhat like one. it is Bison bison they ARE all bovine, however, meaning they are all related (they're all types of cow-like animals) but the bison is not actually a buffalo, despite the misleading common name
if it was me i would eat it. but i also have very little respect for expiration dates/my own health. i ate some beans yesterday that expired in march of 2007... i know canned veggies and meat are very different as far as that goes, but you see my point.
I really wouldn't do that. I wouldn't even eat the natural grain-fed meat my mom buys after it expired, Store bought meat is especially suspect.
well this is grain fed but anyways oh well... come to think of it i've eaten expired meat plenty of times and i've never once in my life gotten food sickness of any kind.
In the land of antibiotic parasitic cloned meat and growth hormones, I'd rather not. I'm gone fishin'
Whenever I have old meat, I take it to shroomie and rub it on her back. After I rub her down I store it in one of her many fat folds. That's why she smells so good.
psssst i am alive. actually i forgot to eat yesterday but hubby did and he's alive... damn... it didnt work.
