david gilmour's hair

this may seem sad to some of you but what the hell. ever since i first saw david gilmour hair's(1968-70's era) i wanted it. it has been a dream of mine(not a big dream but a dream none the less). i want my hair to look like that so bad. i do not know how to explain this but his hair kind of sticks together in tufs(if someone could explain it better please do). i know he didnt wash it a lot but even when it was clean it still looked like that. i know his hair was long and mine is too but mine is kind of frizzy, what can i do to make it look like his?i do not like to put anything in my hair except for shampoo and conditioner, so what kind should i use. please help.

It's nearly impossible to get your hair to look like someone elses. My hair is very straight and thick. I was growing it out last year and really liked the look of Jim Roots hair (Stone Sour guitarist). Problem is my hair is so straight that I often get asked if I straighten my hair so there was no chance of me having hair with volume and slight waves.

 

I know how you feel I've wanted a flat top afro since I was 11

My hair is naturally like that.. I find it annoying, I use stuff to keep it less wavy.


Maybe using a residue free shampoo and letting your hair dry naturally will help.

 

i know its dumb but its still a dream, i dont know why it means so much to me but i always thougt to my self if i had hair like that my life would be 10% better which would make a world of difference

 

my hair is basically like his.. except lighter.. but other than that my hair gets those light curls to it..

 

I always wanted a Beatle haircut, but I got Jim Morrison hair. Close enough, I guess...
