Hello all, I am in North Carolina but traverse north to Ancramdale, NY each July for a week long gathering of hippy folk to the Grey Fox Bluegrass festival. It is on the tip top of a mountain and the air is full of lively people of all ages having a great time listening to bluegrass and jamming all over the sloped field we camp upon into the wee hours of the morning. that being said- Does anyone know of any other good festivals out there for hippy folk to go and enjoy? ecaep peace
im usialy at a rainbow gatherin most of july, but theres tons of hip fests all over the place without bein slightly morespecidic what your lookin for u couldeasily get 500 or more fests to goto to figure out which ones your into..
Exisiting, Another good one full of younger hip types and progressive music would be the Appalachian Uprising. Its held in southern Ohio, near Ky and Wv. Its pretty cool.... Peaceful thoughts your way... Farmout
Jam Base is a wonderful place that has a big list of festivals. I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier this summer. I was a a festival every weekend. There is one in New York called Harvest fest. Ed Rosenthal will be there. It's sort of like a political marijuina activist festival. Look it up. Would love to see you there. It's on October 10th thru 12. Peace love and light
