What are spiders.

Inspired by the 'what are snakes?' thread. Whats up with spiders? i could probably cope with them if they had two eyes instead of eight

Here is another thing, why isn' there a word for spiderphobia? Sure, sure there is arachnophobia but i am not phobic of arachnids such as scorpians... just spiders.

"Pussy" is a better word than "Arachnophobia"

Spiders are such wonderful beings.

Sometimes I find a brave one dry like dust and as thin as the threads of his own web, sitting in the corner of the window pane ... since years or so it seems ... and he's still alive and moves his thin little legs ... so i take them out and tell them they have a better life out in the garden with all their spider friends and they still can eat each other. Sometimes a big hairy one crawls out of the corner towards me when i sit on the floor phoning. Sometimes when walking through the barn i cut through a web with a fattie sitting in the middle of it - plop !

They are the weavers of time ... through them (i believe) the universe talks to us with infinite patience, and some humour too.

 

I just wanted to see if you thought i thought you couldn't get laid or if you understood i was telling you to go get fucked. I guess you thought it was the former so that means you lose. I'd give you points for the comeback if i hadn't heard it from every highschooler or if i actually had a sister!

I really like spiders, I like watching them spin their web, I love watching them catch their food in the web and then cosuming it, they are amazing creatures...

 

I like spiders too, although sometimes I freak out. Usually in the morning, before I'm fully awake.

On another, similar note, the other day I saw a house centipede in my sink, trying to climb out.
It was in the corner, it looked like it was dancing or something... I laughed a bit.

 

Spiders are bugs just step on em. Damn things are everwhere. Every morning when I leave my house I get covered with spider webs they build the damn things over night just to have me destroy them every morning. Just step on em it's best that way.
