i saw the movie at a local premiere and was blown away. loved it and nicole kidman! p.s. you're awfully cute.
That movie is such a huge question mark..on the one hand..its really great..but theres..something about it...makes me a little unsure...maybe its the incorperation of "like a virgin"?

Ya know, I lived in Paris for 6 months about a 15 minute walk from the real Moulin Rouge. The area looked nothing like the real neighborhood, yet somehow it managed to capture a certain "Je ne sais quoi" of that section of Paris. Aside from that I really liked the music and I thought the directing was amazing. The plot was just a typical of a Parisian romance story. Didn't change that it made me want to go back there.
I loved this movie...at first I have to admit I was not the biggest fan, but how can you not like Ewan McGregor's voice...it is absolutely amazing. Once I got into the movie it was awesome!
I cant beleive what Im reading! Ewan McGregor's voice, amazing? I thought it sounded more like fingernails on a chalkboard. My wife loves this movie. I cant figure out if it's the music or Ewan. I think she secretly lusts for him. LOL. I personally dont mide the move. It's OK and definatly worth a rent. I wouldnt by it for my collection although I had to buy it for my wife's.
