I remember a day way back in the past (80's) when you could just copy your friends cassettes onto your own blank cassettes..make compilation after compilation and even put you own excerpts in between the songs.
I have dozens of 4.7 gig DVD's full of MP3's something in the range of 50,000 or so. Just wait till the movie bug bites you, and you want nothing but 8 gig DVD9's..... Thats why I've got a couple TB's d/l in the last 18 months or so..... But I've been d/l movies for quite some time. Cd's I started burning back in the late 90's sometime, I bought my first CD burner in 97 or 98, which still works I must add( for 400 bucks it damn well better) that was actually a cheap one back when they first came out. but yeah, I've got literally thousands of burnt cds because everytime I want one, I just burn another. I let my dog play with them, have huge stacks of them. if it gets damaged or destroyed, just burn another
haha, no shit! we have two LARGE cd holders completely full of burned DVDs. we don't download them, but we borrow from the library or rent from the video store and copy them before returning. we had an unlimited blockbuster membership for a while and we racked up, man. our movie collection is awesome, and still growing.
I try to d/l as much as possible, cuz a trip to the video store is a half hour drive, one way. Sooooooo, I tend to find what I can from my "sites" and what I can't, I get a big ass list ready and go get like 15 movies out, and take them right back the next day. They laugh at me, cuz they know damn well what I'm doing, but from the way I take it, i'm not the only one, just the only one who makes it so obvious and so many at a time. Shit, I don't care. I want to see the FBI come and tackle me to the ground cuz I'm renting 15 fucking movies at a time and returing them within 24 hours.
