i associate busch more with ac/dc and tractors. it's hard to associate metallica with anything, since it's so hard to find anyone that doesn't hate them.
Tell me about it. Everytime I see a rockumentary on them Lars is always fucking crying like a girl, and then James will storm out and slam the door like haha what a bunch of fucking woos heads. I loved that scene when Jason suddenly reaslised they are all a bunch of loser and quit the band, and Lars started stropping about going "he's left the band, he's left the band!"
My 7 and 9 year old boys love Metallica. The 7 year old can see word for word on a couple of the songs.
I hope you have a kick ass time. My 7 & 9 year olds will be with you in spirit. I saw Metallica back in 1989. First concert I tried getting blitzed at.
I used to love Metallica & still do well their old shit anyway...everything after the black album just completely blows. Its too bad, they were once so great, now they suck.
Metallica has never been relevant. They are at the best a forgettable band. Another corporate attempt at churning out crap and making money.
I saw Metallica this year in Reading festival. Well that was only a couple of weeks ago actually.. Anyhow, they were still so good. I've not really listened to them much in yeeears however they do still kick ass live.
Metallica was a hard living DIY band when they started, not corporate at all They were certainly relevant in the 80's, they rocked hard and differently than just about anyone who came before them, how is that forgettable? do some research, they were not formed by a corporation to make money, in fact very few bands were "started" by corporations..maybe a few boy bands
He's right. Jame's Hetfield once wanted to "kill all the record distributors" for making them change the title of their debut album from Metal Up Your Ass to something else. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_'Em_All
thank you "Kill 'Em All is the debut album by Metallica. It was recorded in only two weeks on a small budget. Only 1500 copies were initially printed, but it has now been certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA, selling over 3 million copies in the U.S. alone." Dude is full of it
And apparently did you know did you know the Black album is the 25th biggest selling album of all time. Fuck know why it's shite. All of sudden everyones getting into Metallica, sell out bastards. Did you know did you know also that know one really knows how Cliff Burton died. He either died from being involved in a bus crash, or from having a bus dropped onto him by the rescue team. No-one knows if he was still alive when they dropped it.
