So I'm finishing up my Associates and am transferring winter quarter. Anyone here live in Bellingham or go to WWU? I've heard the school is very weed friendly. I'm curious as to how hard it is to find people who can help you out or if it's a very open thing. I'm also considering Evergreen State or EWU. If anyone has any advice that'd be cool.
    thanks

Smoking pot is cool and all but man your going to college.. Weed should not be the first thing to look for when going IMO. Meet new people, get involved, achieve, get girls, learn new things. Then EVERY-NOW-AND-THEN smoke a little pot...... maybe....

as a complete stranger to the area (i live in ohio) smoking was NOT an issue at all in my visits to seattle and vashon. if bellingham is anything like where you already say you are, you probably have a much better idea about it than most of us. my only lasting impression of bellingham was the airport, cause thats all i went to while there...drove down to vashon from there, i had a friend living there at the time...i hope the town itself is nicer than the airport.

but i'd say in the grand scheme of things, you're in a very tolerant area of the country in general and really have little to worry about. there is bound to be bud there, and when you find it it shouldnt be a big deal to smoke it.

i just got to bloomington, indiana....indiana is a lot stricter than i'm used to, so even though this is a college town i have to be very careful. just over the line in ohio, you can have i think up to 100g and get what essentially amounts to a traffic ticket almost....no criminal record, just a nominal fine, no jailtime....

course there are other b.s. things they tack on to make your punishment worse...for instance you CAN go to jail for up to 30 days for drug paraphernelia....
