    What she said!

    17 doesn't understand 28 nor vice versa

that gap would be much smaller at 38-27.
walk away for a couple years.

    hmmm...when he turns 18, MAYBE

But really though, he needs to experience Life, get his education, date and have fun? If you are looking to get serious with him, I don't think that is a good idea....Let him become a Man first...

I see alot of desperation in this question

It depends on the people, I personally wouldn't go for it just because of what others might think, but actually it could work.

There's no right and wrong in falling in love. You're in love, that's all. What you really need to ask is, "Is it right for a 28-year-old woman to have a romantic relationship with a 17-year-old guy?" And I think you already know the answer to this one.

it depends too many factors is the women a good person or just using him. love is a tangible thing it can be there for a while then disappear like smoke in the wind (woot sentimental moment for the day) i say no
let the kid have another year or two to expance life and so on

    Your asking is it right?
    What is right?
If you live in a country where its legal go for it.
Here in the UK that happens all the time.
Age is just a number and if you like each other whats wrong with that?

I dont think its wrong, how could it be really, but life-situation wise, it would be HARD I would think for both, not just that, I cant even imagine the chaos that would ensue once the families found out

No! She is too old for him. Let him experience a little bit more in life. There is a lot that happens between Seventeen and Twenty-Eight.
Adults should not date kids. Seventeen year olds are in high school. Their world consists of math tests, pimples and prom. Let them experience their youth with other kids their age.
Kids always want to grow up so fast. Once their youth is gone, they wish they had slowed down and enjoyed being a kid a little longer!
