Could you pass as a Brit?

I just saw it for the first time a few day ago. I thought his accent was pretty convincing, but then I'm not American... Just wondered if people were aware that he is actually English, I bet loads of folk think he is American. Or maybe not, I dunno...

 

I can't watch House because I loved Hugh Laurie so much in Jeeves and Wooster. I don't wanna break that lovely image inside my head..

Every year on July 1st ever since we were in middle school, me and my friends have a "Fake English Accent Day" where we go around and speak in really corny fake british accents, and you aren't allowed to speak in any other way.
