WOW!! Yes its a movie! its based on Pink Flyod and his life.
It has some weird as things in it. Like there is a scene where he shaves off all of his hair, eyebrows, everything and cuts his nipple lol.

It shows his mind in a very twisted way

I think he was being sarcastic, everyone knows the wall.

and FYI, bob geldof actually did cut himself while doing that scene, he wasn't scripted to do that, just to shave his eyebrows and act crazy/spaced out, but he started doing that and actually did cut himself and it was decided to leave it in for effect.

Pink Floyd is just the band name and the name of the character in the film, not an actual guy. This is a common mistake made with Monty Python too.

Roger Waters wrote The Wall (album and movie), primarily about himself (not about Syd Barrett, as the popular rumor has it) and the often unpleasant experience of being a rock star. "The Wall" is the literal and figurative divider between rock star and fans.

One of the best movies ever. I love the way it critiscises society, and the animations are just perfect.

It is an amazing movie. Great transitions from real life to cartoons. To me is an amazing movie-long music video that tells a great story.

First time I saw it was in a movie theater tripping on acid. When the hammer breaks the glass window I fucking freaked. I seen it dozens of times since, it never gets old. Last time was on a plasma screen tripping balls on 2c-e.
