Falling asleep on diphenhydramine (benadryl)

Everyone always says how terrible and scary benadryl trips are because well you all know why. Well if your having such a bad experience can't you just go and fall asleep? Because even when i just take 1 or 2 i get drowsy as fuck, so i would imagine it would be impossible just to stay awake if you took 10-20

I would imagine its hard. I have a thread in the dreams fourm about some FUCKED up dreams i had taking benadryl like 4 before bed. It's weird shit.

 

Actually, I always found it to be rather difficult to fall asleep when I took "recreational" doses of diphenhydramine. If I take 4-5 of them, I get sleepy as fuck. If I take 20-30 of them, my eyes nearly bug out of my head and it's nearly impossible to go to sleep. If I can calm myself down, then it's easy to go to sleep on, but I'm usually trippin out over random shit and I'm too wiggy to even think about sleeping on the "recreational" doses.

Also, it makes you piss entirely too much to be able to stay in one spot long enough to sleep.

When I used to mess with benedryl, low amounts would put me right on my ass and to sleep, but high amounts would almost resemble a trippy sort of cocaine buzz and it was VERY hard to just go to sleep, and even pot wouldn't help...

 

actually onw time i took a recreational dose of benadryl added on to sleep deprivation. however, since i was so tired, i didnt trip and ended up passing out while on sitting at my computer. i woke up to my screen reading "tsigkjsbdkjbs" cause i fell asleep on the keyboard.

Are benadryls better to trip on then the dramamine brand?

Also, does anybody know if it's safe to trip on these if you get pee tested for probation?

 

yeah watch out. I believe they can cause 'false positives' for opiates or some other shit, I forgot. I read it on wikipedia and erowid.

 

Man that sucks, but I think you're thinking of DXM, which I would much prefer to do.

nah, im not. everyone knows about dxm, but I saw some website that listed regular OTC medicines that can cause "false positives" for all types of shit. Supposedly, Ibuprofen, if taken enough I guess, can cause a false positive for weed.

It will make you piss ALOT. Diphenhydramine will severely dehydrate you, at "recreational" dosages, so make sure to keep some water around. If you don't wanna piss a lot, then don't trip on benadryl, because it'll have you going back and forth to the bathroom all night.
