    I saw the documentary The Hurricane of 38’ on American Experience (PBS) [​IMG]

    It was strange seeing downtown providence underwater and watching looters in boats hitting store after store :eek:

    Sadly the Hurricane of 38' also took out the last remaining stand of old growth forest in New England :(

    I had to evacuate because of effing Gustav and my friend in Baton Rouge almost got crushed by a ceiling that caved in right in front of her. We both go to school in New Orleans.. which just got power back 2 days ago. I miss my city... :(

    I remember watching something about the 1938 storm on the history channel. I've personally been waiting for that one to hit, but I know thats probably not gonna happen in my lifetime
