My dad hasn't bought me new glasses in a couple of years, Ive repeatedly had to super glue and tape the ones I have now, my vision without them is horrible. a while ago he told me to schedule an appointment so i could get new ones for school, He ended up changing his mind and i had to go to school with superglue or tape on my glasses. He just told me to schedule an appointment and when i called the only appointement they had is for tommarow at 4:20,I was baked when i made the call it just weirded me out a little.
I got myself contacts, when i went to get them they sold me the wrong thing cause i did'nt have enough money,i think they knew I was gonna have to come back to get the ones I needed....now I need like 60 more dollars to get the right kind.
welll that blows. Honeslty i really pefer glasses before contacts i mean its just a waste of my life puttin them on every morning
Glasses are so much more convenient. I never realized how often I like to take naps and how odd contacts feel afterwards. Glasses are AOK for me, except of course when someone punches you in the face and they break. Also I went totally baked out of my mind to the optometrist, and I thought he was gonna say something about my eyes (they were pretty fucked haha) but he didn't luckily.
i have a thyroid problem, so my eyes are sort of swollen. contacts will have to wait until i get the thyroid taken care of. i have been without glasses since the beginning- middle of june. mine arent too bad, but i feel like an idiot in the store. i have to squint like crazy to see anything! but they were my first pair of glasses, and about 8 years old. we even trie epoxying them back together, but they still looked goofy. my glasses died for good.
i went for a check up once, and the doctor told me my pupils were huge, I laugh for like 10minutes, he knew i was high
I have to wear glasses. I'm damn near blind without them. I can't wear contacts because I have severe astigmatism. I could wear toric, but they constantly reposition on your eye. I tried them and I kept rubbing my eyes trying to get them to settle down, but they wouldn't so I had a little double-vision. needless to say, driving in contacts is out of the question, and reading is difficult so I stick with glasses.
