I am very happy with my feet this evening. I got through my schoolday doing the usual routine (take sandals off soon as i get in class, and put them back on to walk in the hallway - actually starting to break this habit and go completely barefoot in school), and as I was leaving the building again, I put my sandals in my backpack. I was standing outside the school talking to a couple friends, and this girl walked up and joined the convo. After a few moments, she said "You have such beautiful feet!" It was a huge surprise for me, usually people will walk up and say 1)"Why are you barefoot!" or 2) "Why are your toes so wide apart?" Anyone else have something like this happen to them? P.S. I went to the hospital earlier today also (for a nasal infection) and I went to see my doctor shoeless. Noone said anything to me, though an old woman with some little kids looked at me very disapprovingly.
I had a beautician (female) tell me that I have cute toes. The other time I was getting a pedicure, two other gals in the salon came over to watch and one of them told me that I have nice feet. Makes you more confident in showing off your feet!
Awesome. I sometimes get certain looks from some women that let me know they enjoy seeing me out about town barefoot. I sometimes get smiles which is really nice. By the way, you aren't going "completely barefoot" to school until the day you leave the shoes at home, and go to school with no shoes at all, not even for emergencies. You should give that a shot. Sounds like you could already do this now if you wanted to.
hahaha! i love the disaproving looks! it's like people are thinking "you should put shoes on, it's not legal to walk around barefoot" yet they're not about to say something, cause they have no idea if it's legal or not. they just think it's a bad example. haha!
also it's funny to find children who attract the general attention on your feet much to his/her mothers dismay for disturbing the odd and potentially dangerous dude hanging around in bare feet . another time i was getting out of some cafe where a lot of young people loves to squat on the dirty stairs in front of the soiled entrance , it was a cold rainy winter night and the man sat near the door looking down, bet he took a look at all the feet going in and out of the pub but he dint expect to see toes instead of leather boots. well that cat possibly high on something raised the most puzzled face _ever_ looking for the proud owner of those feet.
I found it funny the other week when I was stood in a store checkout queue, & this young boy asked his mum 'why is that man not wearing any shoes?', not quietly either, promptly followed by his mum telling him to keep quiet. I just giggled
Same here. I went from having a phobia of feet to totally loving them. I've thought about starting a foot pic thread but I haven't had the time. :l
I used to think that. But mine are exposed so much that the hair becomes blond and happy looking. Don't know how else to put it. Also, even though I'm not one to completely shave my legs, I've always felt right about trimming down the excess with a trimmer, legs and feet, both; shortening it by half or two thirds, and leaving the rest on. Whatever feels normal and right. I'm just one who thinks too much hair is too much, but whatever anyone wants. I'm also sure everything looks better when it's exposed more often.
