Have got some good beers tonight

Imperial Cherry Saison (Southern Tier Brewing Company -- Lakewood, New York)

This is an artisinal Belgian-style saison brewed with cherries and aged with oak. 8% ABV.

Immort Ale (Dogfish Head Brewing Company -- Milton, Delaware)

This is an American strong ale clocking in at 11% ABV. It's brewed with peat-smoked barley and is exceptionally smooth with vanilla and maple overtones. It's one of those beers that you must consume at room temperature to fully enjoy the full flavor and body.

Southern Tier IPA

This is my all-time favorite IPA. Nicely hopped with an amazing aroma and superb body.

i do have to go pick some beer up soon...not that i'll be drinking any, just to have a nice stockpile for when i can

 

There is a big drought here and a lot of the beer trees are dying so I haven't had any for a while. They sound awesome, especially the "Immorrt" - I love those extra strong peaty beers that you need to drink lukewarm.

 

Makes me want a beer.

I dont care much for beer, but it is very interesting to hear the different beers you drink Pressed.

the most recent beer I tried to swallow down was one of those "arrogant bastard" beers. Didnt like it very much.

I have thought about attempting to brew my own, but I am just too lazy and have too little patience. Besides, knowing me, I'd probably end up fucking up big time. Hahah.

 

I highly doubt you would fuck it up bigtime. With your beer knowledge and all, you could be the next beer king!

 

Yeah, my Dad works for one of the best brewers in the country. I got a real taste for dark, malty ales in Northern England. They have some wonderful microbreweries.

 

Coopers??
