Hey guys... My dad told me a way to make Bell Bottom Jeans, but I was wondering for other methods (perferably that don't involve sewing). My dad's way was soaking jeans in water and putting metal circles in the legs. Any other ideas?

Cut up the jeans about a foot or so
apply psychedelic fabric on the inside
and sew it around so it's a bell shape.

Sewing is easy and this method makes pants look cool as fuck, IMO.

Ironing would never be permanent by the feet. They would rip in no time.
Just make close sewing points and that is definitely strong for a while.
Still have to be careful, though.
You could probably make it stronger by lining the bottom of the pants with something.
A strip, or another layer of fabric.
    Never tried that.

you could also just safety pin the fabric to the pants with lots of little safety pins. that's what i did for a halloween pair once. :D

"homeless people are gonna be living in my pants!"

sewing is pretty necessary to keep it strong. most fabric stores have cheaper models of sewing machine which will make it easier. your first machine should me $100 or less.
small, medium and large straight stitch, and at least 1 zigzag stitch.
