i stick the egs in a pan and cover them with water, than bring to a boil, and let it boil somewheres between 10 and 15 minutes. then i drain the hot water off, and fill with cold. let set a few minutes, drain and fill with cold water again. then stick it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to truly cool, peel and enjoy. :D

It's easy. Just bring them to a boil and leave them on for about 8 minutes.

    get a pot
    lay eggs in pot
add some water - not too hot or too cold
    add a little salt
put on the fire for 10-15 minutes

10 or 15 minutes is usually more of a soft boil.

I usually go 21... Salt the water so it heats up more, start timing from when the water boils.

hey stopping making so much sense.

actually when i look them up i gotta try to determine which way to cook them.. there are so many and some work well some dont.... i was hoping someone would just tell me "this is the BEST way" so i dont gotta figure it.

see complicated. sounds like it would work but there are so many ways. use cold. bring to boil. turn down to low. boil two mins., cover sit ten. or boil ten boil twenty. eck.
i think im just gonna follow what pr said and do it about ten instead. i just really couldnt remember if you just boil them if it's ten or twenty mins but its prolly closer to ten?

Well, so far as I know, eggs take three minutes to boil, but if yer want 'em 'ard, better keep 'em for 5 or 6 minutes, I think. I'm not an expert on boiling eggs, I prefer to fry them. Apparently that's less healthy, but I just think it's better with oil or butter.

never cracked a egg open on a pan and fried it up?

the longer the time in the water, the harder the egg and yolk become. less time, you get a softer egg, yolk may still be runny..

Put them in a pot and cover with water. Bring to boil. Turn the heat off after 1 minute of boiling and cover the pot. Leave them for 15 minutes and they're done.

Yeah...eggs are complicated. There's so many ways to cook the little fuckers and I don't know what all that over easy, sunny side up stuff means. I always order scrambled. That way I know what I'm getting at least.

I always put the eggs in boiling water. If I want them soft, I boil them for about 4-5 mins, for hard eggs I'd boil them for about 10 minutes.

I know this is from last night, but this is THE BEST way...

-Use older eggs. Fresh eggs are a bitch to peel.
-Put the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Let them sit for an hour to equalize the temperature, this helps them not to crack.
-Bring to a boil, cover, and remove from the heat. Let sit 15-20 minutes.
    -Drain, cool, peel and enjoy.

You know that green film you get on the yolk sometimes? That is from overcooking...

    And now you know.
