twilightning is my favorite band in the entire metal field as of right now... up until their newest one. so much energy in their music

 

best metalband for me would be A7X.

 

anyone heard of Meshuggah, lyrics and music are both awesome. Love em. Def. should check them out. They carry so much meaning.

ObZEN sucked aaaasssss but otherwise they're ok. it's pretty much just death metal for kids who like korn, or what i'd call nu-metal with screams... def not power metal

 

Blind Guardian is my favourite power metal band. In fact, it's the only one I realy like, I get tired of most Power bands very fast, they all sound the same.

I like meshuggah. But they should never have been mentioned in the first place.

Actual I only have a few power metal songs. My favorite is Dragonland

 

It's more certain albums that I dig. Like Rhapsody - Symphony of the enchanted lands, which maybe on the edge of flowery penis metal as well (I dig that description of Sonata arctica ).
Dominé - Dragonlord, tales of the noble steel. Ha, how power metal can you get right! And a few others. I think there was a thread about power metal here already.

Rhapsody definitely on the verge of flowery penis metal, but they still have balls of might. Not mighty Manowar sized balls, but still, balls of might.

 

you guys need to listen to ufych sormeer. they started out as black metal but now they play progressive / avant garde power metal with the most fucked up approach ever. check em.

 

catch 33 wasn't too bad, neither was nothing. their earlier demos and shit were progressively AMAZING. but obzen is soooo boring
