Google chrome

i wonder how many stoned people on these forums saw the name of this thread and did a google search for the word "chrome"

Chrome uses the same open webkit as safari... The rendering engine is basically the same..

 

I used it for a little bit yesterday. It's very fast, but too buggy ATM. Plus I couldn't figure out how to get that minisearch bar in the upper right hand corner than most other browsers have now.

exactly my reason for not downloading it yesterday.

 

I played with it a little while yesterday.

It is fast but I don’t really like the layout with the bookmarks a crossed the top and the stupid most viewed thumbnails. Not to bad for version 1.0 though I like anything that will give Microsoft some competition.

 

yea i wondered that too, but it turns out to google things you just type it into the adress bar. kind of nifty really, the address and google bar in one package.
