No time for a job in college

I recently started my freshman year. I had a decent amount of money saved up from the summer and my parents have been pretty generous in helping me get everything I need to do well in college. The only problem is this money will last me probably one semester and it would be nice to have a small paycheck coming in every week. I can set aside the money I have now for any emergencies or car problems and then use most of my paycheck for the occasional times when I buy weed or a case of beer.

Unfortunately my classes require a decent amount of study time. I would hate to get too deep into a job and have trouble managing my time for class. My weekends and afternoons are usually open but I want to leave myself a little time to study. I plan on applying at a few places on campus and if I must I will try a few places off campus within walking distance.

Bud around campus is always of great quality. I know a lot of people that sell a little on the side to smoke for free. If I even consider selling, I will not be smoking anything I purchase until I actually make some money. My idea was to find a connect to get me an ounce which should hopefully only run me $320 to $340. I'm pretty paranoid about selling on campus but I know if I go back to my hometown I could probably sell it all in eighths pretty quick. Standard price for an eighth of headies there is $60. I could potentially make $480. I'd be willing to make a little less if I could sell a quarter or two but there will always be people that would just want to buy a gram.

I will not front a lot amount of my money to someone I do not know.
I will not sell on campus to someone I have only met once.

What do you guys think?

Don't front people money. period. don't tell people how much bud you have. a good price scheme, from what i've seen, is dimes, dubs, eighths. if you start cutting down your prices for quarters and up you cut into your profits.

pick up a quarter pound too if you can afford it. for headies it should run you anywhere from 1000-1500 and for middies 300-600.

 

Either grab that ounce and sell dubs... or grab a work study job at your school... try to get one in the library, you won't have shit to do 90% of the time and can earn money while you get to study...

mmg, I know all about fronting people money. It's just difficult to find someone who sells ounces to openly invite you into their house if they don't know you well. Not to be racist, but dimes and dubs are black people terms. You can make a lot of money off them but I don't sell to people that are dumb enough to buy in amounts only denoted by the cash they are giving their dealer. If I cut down my prices for quarters a little I may not make as much profit but that ounce will be sold very quick. Would you rather do four simple transactions and make $100 or do 20 transactions and make $200? It's not worth the time or risk. A QP is a bit much for me. I'm not even sure I could move through it all fast enough. I refuse to sell mids. I know some people like to buy it cheap to roll blunts but I'd rather be known for my quality.

Lune, I've looked at getting jobs at the library. Unfortunately a lot of the upperclassmen took them early so the shifts they have left don't work perfect for me but that would be my first choice.

I've never understood giving money to a dealer but not specifically knowing how much you are going to get. I've smoked with plenty of black people and most of them didn't regularly use weights as a measurement. It's convenient for a quick sale but that's not the service I want to offer.

If I had the money to buy a quantity of mids and headies I would but I also don't know where to get mids easily.

and btw, "dimes" and "dubs" are just words, slang, colloquialisms. i know white and black folks who use these terms, but we're all potheads so we all get along on the same vibes.

i know dudes who stock up on headies only, but the ones who stock variety are never dry. college kids definitely like indoor, but for a 25$ eighth, they'll be coming back for the mids more than you think.
