Hey everybody, new to the forums here. I have a a bottle of cheratussin, i know that it is codeine and guafinesin, but what i do not know is the exact quantity of each ingredient per ml. It is a 160ml bottle. any help would be appreciated.
I found this: Guaifenesin 100mg/5ml, Pseudoephedrine 30mg/5ml, and Codeine 10mg/5ml. The other stuff might be dangerous in large quantities! However, that was a simple google search away... no need to post it unless you can't easily find it on google. btw please DOUBLE CHECK my facts, because I found that in some other forum.
I saw that thread but it was not conclusive to me so i figured i would double check on here. Ended up just calling the pharmacy and asking. Your information was correct except for the particular syrup no longer comes with psuedo in it and the toxicity level of the guafinesin is more than comes with the syrup. Just drank the whole bottle, nice mellow high but not as good as the extended release tussin.
I remember Chericol, a codeine cough syrup one could by without a presription. You merely had to sign for it at the pharmacy. 10 mg per tsp., it was the equivilent of 8 Tylenol #4's per bottle.
